There is a AIC on it, the CAA have said that if you are logging it without paying a share its considered a benefit in kind. Only time they can do it is if they are complying with the charity flight AIC and glider tugging and the like.
Of course its a consideration when I didn't know any better it saved me £2500 in hour building, moving folks aircraft to and from maint for them.
