The
official figures show that nett immigration is some 350,000. Add a very conservative 100,000 illegal and undetected immigration to that, and you get around 450,000 immigrants per anum - net. Now five years of this, equals about the population of Birmingham - which is why we need many more towns anyway, and is also one reason why we need bigger airports.
