Flying to Indonesia to look for a job
Hi folks
I'm a Korean Australian with fresh ME-CPL (250 hours total).
As an ethnic Korean, I can apply for airlines in Korea with 250 hours however I'm not taking any chance hence I'm also thinking of going to Indonesia to look for any flying job to build hours.
Yes, I have looked into various threads about some folks heading over to Indonesia such as Susi Air or what not and I've also got many contact details of those working at HR departments in Indonesian airlines. However due to language barrier, it doesn't seem to get anywhere.
I would like to ask wise pilots' opinions on pprune whether or not it is a wise move on my side to head over to Jakarta for a month or two to walk into airlines offices to see my chances.
p.s: Yes I know Lion Air and Merpati are doing P2F which I can't afford at all so that's out of the question.
Thanks in advance.
