Trying to commute will be very difficult. Days off can be Monday and Saturday one week, and you can work 6 days on before your days off.
I would never recommend anybody leave a permanent and secure job to become cabin crew. Aer lingus hasn't made people permanent in 5 years, and had continuously stated it wants seasonal workers
