Petroplus bankruptcy: Government 'confident' no petrol shortage as refinery stops sales.
The Government is "confident" that there will be no petrol shortage in London and the South East after Petroplus, Europe's largest independent oil refiner, filed for bankruptcy on Tuesday.
Petroplus produce 10% of the UK's fuel. Does anyone know if this refinery produces Avgas? If they do and the administrator decides to cease production, here comes a big price hike....
