You should get "Flyer" or "Pilot" magazine (don't know if you can get them in TX?). Both magazines have a large section at the back devoted to flight school advertising, and over 50% of the schools listed are in the USA. Before you make enquiries to specific schools you should have an answer to the following questions:
1) How much money am I willing to budget. . 2) How much time am I willing to devote to. . my training. . 3) What are my flying goals long-term
Have an answer to these questions and the school will be able to help you a lot quicker and efficiently.
