I cannot get my head round this thing that water can be mistaken for fuel, even if it is all water. Emptying the sample on concrete or tarmac or your hand in the absence of either it is obvious. Water collects in globules, fuel does not. Water has "surface tension"? fuel does not. Fuel smells awful & tastes worse.
