I think what the ever helpful lilflyboy262...2 is trying to tell you is that there aren't really enough jobs to go around for those down here, some of whom might have experience on C310,Qs or Rs and the Do228.
The Dornier 228 is a curious aircraft to have on one's licence. It's a great machine to operate especially in the jungle or the desert. On balance though, it's perhaps not as useful as a B200 would be as a first turbine. You'd not be the first one knocking on the Africa door with a shiny licence and a Do228 rating. Is some training organisation somewhere selling type ratings on the Do228 as an initial turbine conversion? There're only around 130 or so world wide and the Garrett engine is not a common one.
