I replaced my paper one a few years ago and it involved the revalidation process plus a FSDO visit. OK if you are headed that way. Plus of course you need the companion FCC radio licence and the English Proficiency endorsement.

The following link points to a permanent FAA Examiner based in the UK so maybe there are now alternatives!
