Sylvia, I just got finished reading your book.... non-stop! Very entertaining! I could so relate. When I first started to learn to fly in 1983, I also felt "anti-female in the cockpit" attitudes and heard all the jokes (if God meant for women to fly, the sky would be pink; it's called "cockpit" for a reason, etc.
)
It was interesting to read that you are German-American, I am as well, just the other way around. I grew up in San Diego, but I've been living in Germany now for 40 yrs!
