Boeing conversation: "Damn! What's happening? This is a problem no one's foreseen ... um give me the QRH
blah blah checklist ..." Halfway through ... "No, let's go to the QRH
whatsit checklist, and use the last half of that..." and so on, until the problem is solved.
Airbus conversation: "Damn .. something's gone wrong which no one's foreseen ... um that engine needs to be shutdown."
"But Sir - there's no ECAM up for engine shutdown" "We'll do it from the QRH, then."
"Umm but Sir - there IS no paper checklist for ECAM stuff - it's all hidden away by the machine, until IT thinks you might need it!"
