I relish the day when airline bean counters realize that downsizing airline HR/Recruitment departments could save them cash.
The CAA/FAA/JAA award/renew me a license based on successful completion of a CAA/FAA/JAA syllabus. What more do you need to know about a pilot when his employment is being considered that you can't gain from a quick peek at his training file and a chat in the canteen?
The whole business is utterly ludicrous in a world that is looking for efficiencies, unless of course, you have no faith in the regulator...
