I have'nt the foggiest what most of you are talking about !
Lets not cloud the issue, you lot, please.
I've had an engine fire and all I can say is that the fire handle light looked a hell of a lot brighter and redder than it did in the simulator ! We put it out -- end of drama thank goodness ! Drama is when it does'nt go out I reckon -- then it's no joke !
We had a joke and a laugh afterwards; It's a good way of relieving tension, apart from being a common pilot trait ("The Right Stuff" and all that c**p) !
PS -- I love another poster's signature - "You only have too much fuel when you're on fire !"
