You may do well to have another look at the date of that article and the many since - including those on the RAF intranet - which state that for the time being at least, all current RAF Engineering training is to stay at RAF Cosford, with only the Naval and Army aircraft engineering branches currently pencilled in for a move to Lyneham.
Regardless, it's always good to see such a workhorse being looked after properly in her old age!
