NutLoose, That was my introduction to the RAF in January 1963, Boy Entrant, RAF St Athan, no transport to meet us at Barry Railway Station, we got the bus as far as St Athan village, it couldn't get up the hill, then walked up the hill, with the snow at the side of the road above our heads.
