Well, that answers that question! Sam, anything is better than flying privately between A.C. and N.Y.C. Even the bus. You will no doubt have a car, buy or rent, in the US of A it is vital. But you can park the car not far from the N.J. turnpike (I seem to remember it is an anonymous location off route 70, and take a Greyhound, which is CHEAP and no problem parking in NYC - or the little bus station. In New York, there is the subway (underground) but Taxis are great, and also cheap! And the traffic respects cyclists, if you are truly bold, can rent one near Central Park.

Otherwise, drive. But if you get checked out at the Flying W and fly elsewhere, you are in for a treat. No landing fees. Night flying is part of a US license, and you can turn the runway lights on with a few blips of the radio, if they don't leave them on all night. Try checking out the Chilhowee Gliderport in the Smoky Mountains, amazing scenery. Nice people.

Or head up New York State and catch the Niagra Falls, Canada, etc. Maine Seafood is great.
Have a nice day!
