Hello Sam. Bader Field, which was just across the intercoastal waterway from my grandparent's house on Harrisburg Ave, Atlantic City, opened in 1910, and alas, closed in 2006. Various schemes, ball parks, casinos, etc, are mooted for the vacant and weedgrown site.

Closest small airport is the Ocean City Municipal Airport, which is nicely near the beach in Ocean City - walking distance. You can find a website for Ocean City, but I see no flying schools mentioned, though 27 aircraft do call it home.
It is half an hours drive from Atlantic City.

Another small airport that still operates a flying school is the Flying W. Not sure if the Red Lion Airport has rentals or not, Burlington County is another one not far away. McGuire Air Base sends Galaxy aircraft directly over the Red Lion circuit, interesting to watch.

Atlantic City "International" Airport seems to have no GA facilities!? they do have still the FAA installation that does some truly spectacular testing: my niece works there.

But why do you want to go to Atlantic City?
