But to get to Lincoln you have to leave the mainline at Newark and catch the Thomas the Tank Engine which runs every fourth Thursday (unless you're coming from Nottingham direction this is not really viable). If I remember correctly, Grantham and Newark (only town in the UK which is an anagram of w@nker) are equidistant from Cranwell. Call a cab company and ask them!
