Sounds about right, by the time you add in baggage fees, meals etc you get very close to what a normal airline would charge. Premium seats are well above a regular airline economy fare and not too far off some business class tickets.
If you are traveling one way with no luggage and you get a special low fare then they can't be beaten on price, but that's all.
