Hi Ridley

First of all, sorry for the delay as I had to go to Brussels for a meeting on Thursday evening and only got back last night (Sunday).

Well to answer your questions, I am, I suppose, an enthusiastic amateur when it comes to it. I really specialise in HMI or sometimes known as Computer Human Interface CHI. The company really consists of a broad spectrum of people from all areas of aviation both civil and military. We have specialists in airworthiness, crew licencing, aircraft & helicopter operations, ATC, Flow control, Incident investigation, Safety Management Systems, Flight and radar data processing. Basically we aim to become a "One Stop Shop" for all aviation development programmes.

As far as marketing opportunities, I suppose the main area at the moment is the broad ATC developments, and here I will stress that we try to find solutions that are affordable for the customer airlines and other airspace users. It is amazing how many alternative solutions are available that can keep authorities within budget and yet give the controllers good tools and increased capacity.

Other areas of opportunity are in the investigation and advice related to accidents/incidents where we need a wide expertise.

So you see that for people who have recently retired, there is no real need to be put out to grass when the aviation world is suffering from a lack of practical hairy-chested experience that can be put to good use. Just because computers appear to be clever doesn't mean that we can rely on them doing all the thinking and work.

Cheers
