Why is one student/instructor combination not offered. Is it a means to make the training componenet more time effective(cost effective)
Because you need to complete PF and PM duties. Overall you complete the DGCA required sim hours. Even if it was okay you'd still need to do the same hours and so there is no efficiency saving.

Note only those TRTOs that specify they deliver DGCA training are good for you. The DGCA requires far more than a standard JAA/EASA course.

My advice - go where the airlines go, regardless of aircraft type. For example, Jet Airways trains at Alpha Aviation on the 737 but they also conduct many Indian A320 TRs and the students are very happy! Its not about cost, its about value for money!
