Multi turbine is nice - are you willing to do single engine piston? Come to Africa with Kingair etc time and expect to be thrown on a 206.
Log books carry weight there (and I was there) but you start at the bottom. Honestly if the blokes aren't willing to have a beer with you - goodbye. If you think a Kingair/320/737NG will help you out - good luck to you.
I did my time bush in Africa and PNG and that is where you meet the real pilots who didnt pay for ratings, training or uniforms.
If you want to go bush to reinforce your ratings look elsewhere.
