Re getting some transport. there are many car dealer sin Accra, i recently purchased a brand new Hyundai Santa Fe and it is perfect for Ghana.
Dont bother to spent out on a Toyota 4 x 4 unless you are going to some serious travelling off the beaten track.
The wine choice is veyr good, there are great stores at Accra Mall, and opposite Koala (one of the good western supermarkets in Osu).
Make sure you try the Ghanaian Beer, both Accra Brewery (Produce Star, Stone & Club) and Gulder from the Kumasi Brewery, they are really good.
