Agreed that the order to evacuate is the hardest decision a captain has to make, anticipating injuries on the inflatable slides, explanation to the authorities, reporting to the company and the press hungry for the gory details. Not a good day.
I suggest CX might start to make a bit of money suing the pax evacuating with bags. Looking at the photo blog in post #18, isn't that a CC trying to tackle an offending pax with an armlock ? Another CC is bent over the taxiway picking up FOD left by pax as evidence for a future law suit. Well done, girls.
