I totally agree. Any flying is good flying... whether it be circuits in a 'spamcan' (personally I'm quite fond of the dear old C152
) some kind of wierd, not-quite-sure-which-way-is-up flight in something with more power, bouncing across a field in a taildragger... as long as I'm not on the ground I don't care what I'm in!
(although I'm happier if it's old, and smells vaguely of oil and avgas
)
But as for looking down on non-fliers? They've always seemed "potential fliers" to me
