For a ship that expected to be at sea for seven weeks but ended up spending seven-and-a-half months away from home, the morale of those on board seems pretty high. This smacks of extremely good leadership somewhere.

her Commanding Officer, who only joined in April at the beginning of the deployment, is a PWO-qualified Lynx Observer with a good general service track record. If I'm not mistaken, he's the one seen sitting in a chair with a G&T.
