A 0.3% margin, according to IATA.
I'm coming more and more to the conclusion that airlines are enablers in the same way that the canals, railroads, interstates, power grids and other infrastructures have been throughout modern history - not profitable
per se, but with massive leverage and potential for wealth generation.
Unfortunately not necessarily for airline shareholders...
