Anytime between mid-october & early april really. Between may & october, TS are indeed a factor, but the main issue is the temp, especially in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area, where it is likely to exceed 30C all day long. As a matter of fact I used to come back to Europe during this season, to get the best of both worlds
