I spent over 10 years living overseas. Did they delayed your security check because you spent some time living overseas? Do they require security check from the other country as well? In the past I had to obtain criminal record statement from the other country to confirm I have no criminal record! (for immigration purpose) so I hope I can use it if they ask me to provide it.

I am sorry to hear that you received NO THANKS
after you spend so much money. I find it so wrong what they did. All airlines should offer the job first and be subject to medical & security or they should pay for the medical themself like other companies do.
