Most of you will be rejected. They interview many, very many, few are chosen. Despite being an RAF sponsored chap, thus able to pass OASC, BA declined me in 1997/8/9. By 2000 I was teaching their cadets to fly. By 2001 I was flying their Boeing 737's for Go.

Its all bull****t.

In the years between I've seen them accept total wonkers and reject brilliant men. Just this year I have coached many wonderful A320 type rated FO's on BA interviews and selection. A precious few have had an offer. Rejections come in droves.

There is no reason. No Logic. No pattern.

They take the best. But they also take d!ckheads.

Its the best gig in town buy its a rubbish gig compared to what it was. Its still the best gig in town, but only just. And only if you like London. Frankly you're all lucky to find any job. Times are sh1t and going to get worse. That's a promise, not a prediction.
