That article made reference to "experts".
I'm sure if you were to trace these "experts" back you'd find that they are people whose incomes are in some way, shape or form connected to the Flight Training Industry, which I must say is an industry unto itself.
I've been hearing about the pilot shortage for the last 20 years... the line never changes... I'm sure when I'm on my death bed in 40 years time, I'll be able to open Flight Training International magazine, and I'll no doubt find an article about the upcoming pilot shortage....
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
