Four New Routes

BARCELONA, BYDGOSZCZ (POLAND), CHANIA (CRETE) & CORFU

RYANAIR, the world’s favourite airline, today (1 December) announced that it will add four new routes (25 in total) at Glasgow Prestwick from summer 2012 - to Barcelona, Bydgoszcz, Chania (Crete) and Corfu - which will sustain Ryanair’s traffic at Glasgow Prestwick to over 1.3 million p.a. resulting in 1,300 local jobs.

Ryanair celebrated this route announcement at its Glasgow Prestwick base by releasing 1 million £9.99 seats for travel across its European network in December and January. These low fares are now available for booking on Cheap Flights - Book cheap flights to Europe with Ryanair until midnight Monday (5 December).

Ryanair’s four new low fare routes from Glasgow Prestwick to Barcelona, Bydgoszcz, Chania and Corfu go on sale on Cheap Flights - Book cheap flights to Europe with Ryanair tomorrow (Friday 2 December).

Ryanair’s Head of Sales and Marketing Lesley Kane said:

“Glasgow Prestwick today celebrates four new routes from April 2012 which will go on sale tomorrow. With a total of 25 low fare routes from Glasgow Prestwick this summer, passengers can beat the recession by choosing Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges to exciting destinations all over Europe. Ryanair’s 1.3 million passengers will sustain 1,300 jobs locally.

“To celebrate these four new routes from Glasgow Prestwick, Ryanair is releasing 1 million seats on sale for just £9.99 for travel across Europe in December and January. Since these seats will be snapped up fast, we urge intending passengers to book them immediately on www.ryanair.com”.
