Yes, that's correct. Modern gyros have no collective less very few experimentals.
But in a gyro throttle and stick are used - especially on take-off and more or less on landing more sensitive than in a fixed wing. Gyro is a pendulum under rotor which has no big dampener (like fixed wing which makes fuselage more stable from oscillations). Thus acting stick and throttle in a gyro is - in some sense - closer to helo in sensitivity of movements on take-off, landing and during active maneuvering. This is why I asked here.
