No and no.
Surely a ATPL is a equivalent degree for a pilot?.!
I can see how you would think that but...Nope (even though if you take your ATPL to Massey they will give you a reasonable amount of credits towards a degree) knocking out 1 paper on art history or interpretive dance is worth more than an ATPL.
I would suggest doing an H.R paper, they might teach you the secret hand shake (AKA: the reach-around) that will get you a job.
