If a pilot were to call up his operations control, in Maun for the sake of idle example, from a far off dirt strip in the Botswana outback and explain very carefully that in reality, using actual or standard weights whichever were the least limiting and thus most in the company's favour, he was over WAT, MTOW or MLW or whatever, would he get a pat on the back for safety consciousness?
