At say £2 million an acre you could buy 30,000 acres; one hell of a lot of land. Please also tell me how you propose to get a change of use from an airport to that of say offices or housing or industrial, and that would only result in outline planning permission. What about all the on costs of removing all the air bridges, runways and more expensively all the fuel tanks and pipes. I could go on and on but I have made my point
