I think the most dangerous thing in some cockpits in Indian registered aircraft are some of the indigenous crew. As mentioned previously, they have got rid of most of the experienced expats, through the ridiculous medical demands of some half baked law.

Racism is practised on the subcontinent, on a regular basis. In fact it is written in the rules. EG., a non Indian cannot hold an Indian pilot license. If that ain't a racist attitude I don't know what is, when you consider how many Indians hold non Indian licenses before being issued with the coveted Indian DGCA licence/Doctorate.

As for the apple incident, what happened to the basics?? Loose articles in the cockpit. Are pilots not taught these days to check for loose articles in the cockpit before flight, IE cockpit secure?

I rest my case.
