I just have a question though. Does Virgin provide you accomodation for your ground school, or do you need to drive everyday? I live about 1hr away from their Sydney headquarters in Botany, but in Sydney morning traffic, it can take me up to 2.5 hours to get there.

Unfortunately not. The only time you will get accommodation is if you go to another city for the practical emergency procedures parts of your ground school.
For example as Perth doesn't have equipment required the ground school has up to 10 days usually in Melbourne for practical training and assessments.
