HA - knowing you and your company, you know who did this so don't expect to find too much sympathy here. Yes it is still a crime but your organisation has broken laws itself to your commercial advantage (to make up for endemic ineptitude). You don't start the careers of 200 hour commercial pilots - they do, with their time, money and effort. They then make profit for you by using their training to fly poorly maintained aircraft for a wage in the bottom quartile of the curve. Only in GA does your low-rent owner operator mentality flourish.
