Meteor NF11/TT20 at Biggin Hill
Can remember the Britannia in the background being flown in when I was still at school. As I remember the Starboard Outer was feathered for its last flight. From the photo looks as though the engines are being removed by crane. It ended up with concrete blocks on steel frames in place of the engines to keep it balanced. Eventually used for fire practice.
