I think there's the occasional "Etihad" in there as well.
But what routes using these code shares can be booked, and how? For example I fly to HKG several times each year on BA. Every time I have two tickets, one BE, and one BA, and have no protection should BE fail to get me off the rock, and I miss my onward flight. I'd happily pay a few dollars more if I could book IOM-HKG on one ticket, with the comfort that if something goes wrong then the airlines will look after me. As they used to in the past.
It's one aspect of modern day travel that could affect us all. Maybe there's a market for missed connection insurance?
