I don't know your present professional status, but, frankly speaking, do you think it would worth, after all these years as being called Mr.Captain, bearing the hard earned 4 stripes for almost two decades, on a stable job (though a misery salary...)

And expect to be checked and treated as a rookie by somebody sometimes half your experience? Is there a seniority list for F/Os? Based on what?
If the salary really meant you could really change your lifestlyle, maybe. But is this the case?
