18 MPL pilots in the last 12 months is the majority of the recruitment. In addition there has been one course of about 10 fATPL. Those fATPL's were, incidentally, legacy hold pool swimmers finally offered a job (some had been CC for about a year).
I do speak to CP, DFO and HoCT on a pretty regular basis as it happens alongside our chief recuiter. They were all saying the same thing as was mentioned at our trainers meeting 2 weeks ago. Namely, MPL will be the prime recruitment drive.
"His publicly stated intention is to continue to recruit a mixture of traditional fATPL pilots and MPL pilots" - refer to last sentence on previous paragraph.
