I know of a few people who really are on top to their game and got rejected by CTC. I also know of some rather more inept people who have got through with CTC.
There will always be the sneaking suspicion in my head that CTC didn't thoroughly screen all the applications (even though they took the longest to disseminate results!), and once they had the required number, they discarded the rest.
If I were to apply again I have the feeling that applying to FTE or OAA would be a wiser option with a more just selection process.
But hey, maybe thats just the bitterness in me spewing out!
