It seems that you are EK staff or someone well informed on what's going on over there.
May I ask you something: I am a wide body (Efis, non Airbus, non 777) Captain, with more than 12,000 hr, almost 9,000 as PIC on jet transport aircraft and relatively young at the high 40s.
I filled the online application form and after a week got a response stating that they are not requiring DECs for a while.(I've clicked the corresponding "captain" field when asked for position sought, instead of F/O).
Do you think there are chances into the foresseable future EK would consider hiring high experienced wide body DECs?
If, what would be the probatory F/O time for Captains with such experience level? Is there a seniority list for new hire F/Os, regarding upgrading to captain?
