John - I heard "a lot" at the assesments all had degree's, some had Masters, some PhDs....the problem is that further education is the norm now and although BA stated minimum qualifications as A-level, an overwhelming majority exceeded it. Its not the actual degree they're after, its probably more what the 'University Experience' gives.
It is a shame and im not an advocate of this, but from an emotionally detatched point of view, you'll probably find a few 23 years old with 2 years work experience and a degree under their belt.
On a personal note, it's a shame as you have outstanding A-levels (which goes with the ability to get into almost any University you want) and have very obviously show a lot of passion through your career path so far. I wish you the best of luck for next year, if that's what you intend to do
