I remember reading that the Avro Manchester could do a 30-degree diving attack -- dunno how popular a tactic this was; regardless, I do remember
reading about a B-17 pilot pulling off a dive-bombing attack in WW2 to nail a ship, though I don't know how steep the dive was.
I'm wondering what's the steepest dive angle these planes could perform routinely?
