Birds and Flowers of the Outback

Pelicans on the Cooper at Windorah

Anita with the Irish Rose barmaid

She hit it off like a house on fire with the refueller -

at Marree

We were going the other way when we saw this, - as we were coming back..

and we left after refuelling and an early breakfast, so didn't get to play a round..

Back to aerial sight-seeing again

Heading east across the southern end of Lake Eyre North and looking out the port wing towards where Cooper Creek would run in if it was flowing

Cooper Creek at Innamincka

Innamincka Crow

'not enough 'jam'..?'

(p.s. - in light of the day's developments, reminds me of a shiny suit flicking another Aussie icon back and forth, - but to get that analogy right he would have to be a little import - like say, a Mynor Bird....)(as in Minor..Mynah..etc..)

the Three Birds at Nappa Merrie
(the ex-Qantas Ops Person, the Nurse, and The Frigate Bird)

Dig Tree Pelicans on the Cooper

Cooper Creek, Dig Tree, Face Tree, and Nappa Merrie strip at top right.
(Innamincka 20 miles over the border in S.A., on the far right horizon..)
