Ballast (check of actual weights and, if heavy enough, cadet in front!)

Instruments (Set Altimeter to 0ft)
Trim (Neutral)
Canopy (Secure and locked - visual check of cadet's)
Brakes (Check action, Fully Open, then Closed and Locked)
Wings Level
Cable on
Take-up Slack
All Out
ISTR when we moved from the Sedbergh with its open cockpit to the Viking there was an issue with the last 2 bits in that you couldn't easily be heard, so we went to a finger system (1, then 2) with the man on the wing relaying to the caravan.
