My first flying experiences were as a Staff Cadet on Vikings (proper gliders !!) I spent many a weekend strapping on parachutes
Vikings are for whimps. Closed cockpits? Bah!
Only proper gliders were the Prefect, Cadet Mk3, and The Barge!
As for parachutes - Pah! Whimps! Ugh!
